Mobile Massage Go was conceived and created by English teacher and counseling graduate student, Paul Falstad. In 2010, nearing 50, Paul took a serious life inventory and realized that he wanted leave a legacy of service. He tried careers in printing sales, acting, singing, stand-up comedy, videography, and more, but what would he really be remembered for? As a believer in Jesus, helping people was always Paul's mission and purpose, but he felt that his life needed to be completely dedicated to changing lives, not just a casual, part-time gig. He went back to school at age 50 and earned a teaching degree so he could work with troubled kids in the inner cities of Los Angeles. His passion was helping troubled youth become empowered to achieve their best life. He wound up teaching high school in some of the most dangerous neighborhoods of Los Angeles and loved it. However, being a nomad at heart, he taught in Cleveland, Jacksonville, FL. Fast forward to 2018. Being an entrepreneur at heart, he wanted to start a unique business that would make people feel better physically, mentally, and spiritually. At that time, there were very few on-site massage services and even less on-location yoga services. Paul believed that people would appreciate the convenience and comfort of yoga and therapeutic massage in the home. Plus, making people feel better physically, mentally, and spiritually met his life-goals and Mobile Massage Go was born. He started the business in Ohio and is in the process of expanding nationwide. Paul still makes a living as a teacher while operating Massages to You as a side hustle. The business is designed to utilize the best massage therapists as freelancers who want to expand their business. It will remain a small business at heart but Paul plans to go nationwide city by city. Currently, he is the lead teacher at a residential camp for boys in the juvenile court system in South Carolina. He is the proud single-dad of two amazing grown kids who are making their own unique impact on the world. A special note of encouragement to those who struggle with mental illness, Paul is in life-long recovery from Bipolar Disorder. He is also an LGBTQ ally and an advocate. His daughter is transgender, so he has a heart for the bullied and belittled in our world. Paul would like to leave you with the words of Jesus. "With God, all things are possible." His motto is: trust the Lord, work hard, and you can achieve beyond yourself.
